FM 2249 runs from US 62 / US 180 near Cornudas southward, then eastward before ending at RM 1111.[1][2][3]
In 1955, FM 2317 was designated from US 62 southward to Hueco Gas Pump Station. In 1959, the highway was renamed RM 2317. In 1962, its endpoint was extended to the west to RM 1111.[1]
